We are nestled in the Northwood community which is as diverse as it is traditional. We are made especially unique due to our proximity to Fort Sam Houston Joint Base San Antonio, which is only 3.5 miles away. 

We, the parish community of St. Pius X Catholic Church, strive  "To Restore all things in Christ" by continuing  His mission to know, love, and serve  God and one another. 

Our Philosophy

Our core values and approach to ministering to the Body of Christ are:

• To celebrate and rejoice in our life in Christ as members of a community, worshipping, participating in the life of the Sacraments, and continuing to grow in our faith together.

• To fully adopt the motto of St. Pius X in our lives, which is "To Restore all things in Christ."

• To meet the changing needs of our parish community under the spiritual guidance of our pastor. 

• To reflect God's love of the world through Christian love and example.

• To demonstrate God's unconditional love to the world through reaching out to others.

• To provide the opportunity for each and every member of our community to share their time and talents for the sake of the building up of the Body of Christ in His Church.
